Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling dry QW Palatinate 1.5L

A dry Riesling from the Grand Cru vineyard Hohenmorgen in Germany's Palatinate, bottled in the 1.5-liter magnum bottle. It stands for a taut, clearly defined style with citrus freshness and plenty of pull on the palate.

The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery in Wachenheim is one of the defining names of the Palatinate and works biodynamically. The Hohenmorgen is one of the vineyards that the winery manages as a Grand Cru (G.C.). The wine carries the organic control number DE-ÖKO-003.

On the nose, citrus fruits meet ripe apricot. On the palate, it appears lively and precise, the acidity gives it structure and clarity, and the fruit remains noticeable on the finish. The magnum bottle brings something special to the table and is well-suited for larger groups.

Serve it at 8–10 °C. It pairs well with fried fish, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, veal in cream sauce or mild goat cheese.
