Wachenheimer Gerümpel PC Riesling dry QW Pfalz 0.75L

The Wachenheimer Gerümpel vineyard is one of the most prestigious Riesling sites in the Palatinate — and Bürklin-Wolf is the winery that has shaped this site for generations. The PC designation stands for Premier Cru, the winery's internal classification for its best single vineyards. The vineyards are cultivated biodynamically and are Demeter-certified — the soil is paramount.

In the glass, this dry Riesling reveals what distinguishes the Palatinate from the Mosel: more body, more fruitiness, yet with a clear structure. The nose offers aromas of orange, ripe pear, and a subtle hint of yeast. On the palate, it is juicy with lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh despite its richness. The finish is long, with a mineral, slightly salty aftertaste.

Serving temperature 10–12 °C , best enjoyed by 2030. Pairs well with Palatinate Saumagen, grilled pike-perch, asparagus with hollandaise sauce or strong mountain cheese.
