Wachenheim Village Riesling dry QW Pfalz 0.75L

A Riesling that shows what the Palatinate can do when soil and grape variety come together: The Wachenheim Village is produced from organically certified vineyards around the village center of Wachenheim — one of the classic Riesling villages in the Mittelhaardt.

Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery is one of the oldest and most renowned estates in the Palatinate. The estate has cultivated its vineyards biodynamically (DE-ÖKO-003) for years, consistently focusing on terroir expression rather than cellar intervention. The Village line combines grapes from several different vineyard sites, thus providing a reliable insight into the estate's style.

In the glass, this is a dry Riesling with a clear structure: aromas of apple, pear, and a hint of white peach, supported by delicate spice and the well-integrated acidity typical of the Palatinate region. The finish is fresh and clean, without any harshness.

Pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, or a mild goat cheese. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Drinking window: now until 2027.
