Wachenheimer Rechbächel PC Riesling dry QW Pfalz 0.75L

A Palatinate Riesling with a clear signature: The Wachenheimer Rechbächel Premier Cru stands for what Bürklin-Wolf has been known for for generations — precise vineyard management, biodynamic cultivation and wines that do not hide their origin.

Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery is one of the most traditional estates in the Palatinate. The estate has cultivated its vineyards entirely biodynamically since 2005 and played a key role in introducing the Palatinate's own classification system, which officially designates Premier Cru vineyards such as the Wachenheimer Rechbächel. This vineyard lies on sandy loam with limestone content—a soil that imparts both richness and vibrancy to the Riesling.

In the glass, the Rechbächel displays ripe apricot and peach, underpinned by a delicate herbal spiciness. The palate is dry and firm, with a lively acidity that gives the wine length and freshness. The finish is mineral and lingering.

Best served at 10–12 °C . Pairs well with Palatinate Saumagen (stuffed pig's stomach), pan-fried pike-perch with buttered vegetables, or strong goat cheese. Drink by 2029.
