DIECI VENDEMMIE NV Bianco

The DIECI VENDEMMIE NV Bianco brings the power of Abruzzo to the glass. This semi-dry selection made from the indigenous Pecorino grape combines ripe fruit with a lively acidity. On the nose, floral notes emerge, quickly followed by exotic fruits and a hint of citrus.

Brothers Antonio and Luigi Ulisse continue their grandfather's legacy on 55 hectares around Ortona and Crecchio. For the intense aromas of this white wine, they employ a complex process: After selective hand-harvesting in small crates, they cool the grapes with nitrogen down to minus five degrees Celsius in just a few minutes. This cold maceration breaks down the cell structures of the berries and extracts precise fruit aromas without masking their origin.

On the palate, the wine presents itself with power. The exotic fruit is supported by a pronounced acidity, giving the off-dry profile a clear backbone. The finish remains mineral and long. Serve this Pecorino at 8 to 10 °C . It is a suitable accompaniment to Asian curries with lemongrass, grilled poultry, or medium-aged hard cheeses.
