Ulisse Trebbiano d'Abruzzo

Trebbiano doesn't have an easy time in Italy — the grape variety is considered a heavy producer in many places. In Abruzzo, Tenuta Ulisse tells a different story.

The winery is located in the hilly landscape of Abruzzo, east of the Gran Sasso. Tenuta Ulisse is one of the most dedicated producers in the region and specializes in single-varietal wines made from indigenous grape varieties — including this Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, which demonstrates what the variety can achieve with serious craftsmanship.

Straw yellow in the glass with slightly greenish reflections. The nose offers aromas of yellow peach, papaya, and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, it is juicy and direct, with lively acidity that gives the smooth texture a clear structure. The finish reveals a fine minerality and remains pleasantly fresh.

Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 10–12 °C — an uncomplicated accompaniment to grilled fish, seafood, or a light pasta dish with seafood. It's also delicious on its own on the patio. Drink now.
