Corton-Pouget's Grand Cru Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot in HK
The Corton-Pougets Grand Cru from the Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot comes from one of the most renowned sites of the Côte de Beaune. Les Pougets is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous Corton-Charlemagne – on the same soils of limestone and iron-rich marl that give this slope its characteristic density and longevity.
Louis Jadot has been a fixed size in Burgundy since 1859. The Domaine des Héritiers – the winery of the heirs – farms some of the most significant Grands Crus of the Côte d'Or with a clear focus on terroir-true vinification: gentle extraction, aging in Burgundy oak barrels, long cellar time.
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows the typical depth of a Grand Cru site: dark cherry, cassis, and a hint of violet on the nose, underpinned by cedar wood and discreet roasted aroma. On the palate, dense but finely structured tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral-spicy finish. From 2026, good until 2035+.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs with venison saddle with cranberries, braised duck breast, or strong Époisses.
