Corton-Pouget's Grand Cru Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot in HK
The Corton-Pougets Grand Cru from Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot comes from one of the most prestigious vineyards in the Côte de Beaune. Les Pougets is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous Corton-Charlemagne – on the same soils of limestone and iron-rich marl that give this slope its characteristic density and longevity.
Louis Jadot has been a fixture in Burgundy since 1859. The Domaine des Héritiers – the heirs' estate – cultivates some of the most important Grands Crus of the Côte d'Or with a clear focus on terroir-driven vinification: gentle extraction, aging in Burgundian oak barrels, and a long cellar.
In the glass, this Pinot Noir displays the typical depth of a Grand Cru vineyard: dark cherry, cassis, and a hint of violet on the nose, underpinned by cedarwood and subtle toasty aromas. On the palate, dense yet finely structured tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral-spiced finish. Drinking window: from 2026, good until 2035+.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with venison loin with cranberries, braised duck breast or a robust Époisses wine.
