Boschendal Brut MCC 0.75l
Boschendal Brut MCC – a Méthode Cap Classique from the Franschhoek Valley, one of the oldest wine-growing regions in South Africa. The winery was founded in 1685 and is therefore one of the historic estates of the Cape region.
MCC stands for Méthode Cap Classique: secondary fermentation in the bottle, lees aging, and subsequent disgorgement – the same technique as in Champagne, but with South African terroir. The result is a fine, persistent perlage and a creamy texture. In the glass: green apple, citrus zest, a hint of brioche. Fresh acidity, dry finish.
As an aperitif, with oysters, prawns or light poultry. Serving temperature 7–9 °C.
