Boschendal Classics Boschen Blanc

Boschendal's Boschen Blanc is an approachable, fruit-forward white wine from the heart of South African wine country – with the character of an everyday wine that nevertheless has something to tell.

Boschendal is one of the oldest wineries in South Africa. Founded in 1685, the estate in the Franschhoek region is nestled between the foothills of the Simonsberg and Groot Drakenstein mountains. The Classics line represents uncomplicated, easy-drinking wines with a regional character.

In the glass, the Boschen Blanc reveals aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit peel, and a hint of lime zest. A subtle honey note complements this, lending the wine a smooth, creamy texture without making it overly sweet. On the palate, it is fresh and light-bodied, with a lively acidity that allows for a pleasantly long and invigorating finish.

It's most enjoyable when served well chilled at 8–10 °C – as an uncomplicated accompaniment to light summer salads, grilled chicken, ceviche, or a plate of fresh seafood. It's also a reliable choice as an aperitif on the patio.
