Gran Reserva Vina Imas Gold Edition Magnum

Gran Reserva Vina Imas Gold Edition Magnum
A Rioja Gran Reserva in magnum format — that means slower maturation, more depth, more time. With this Gold Edition, Baron de Ley delivers exactly what one expects from a great vintage from La Rioja.
Baron de Ley is one of Rioja's most renowned wineries. Located in a restored 16th-century monastery in the Rioja Baja region, the estate cultivates its own vineyards—unusual in a region where purchasing grapes is the norm. This control over both vineyard and cellar shapes the style: structured, classic, and age-worthy.
The wine spent 24 months in barriques , followed by at least five years of bottle aging—a combined maturation period that makes the Gran Reserva character possible. In the glass, it displays cranberry, dried plum, and leather, along with vanilla and a hint of tobacco from the extended oak contact. On the palate, it is soft and rounded, with integrated acidity and a lingering finish.
Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with leg of lamb with herbs , Ibérico pork, or aged Manchego cheese. The magnum format is perfect for larger gatherings—or as a gift that will last.
