Espumoso 0.75l
A Blanc de Noirs made from 100% Garnacha Tinta — a rarity even in Spain. Baron de Ley, known for structured Tempranillo Reservas from Rioja Alta, shows a different side of the winery with the Espumoso.
On the nose, white blossoms, peach, and nectarine, along with a delicate hint of brioche, a sign of lees aging. The palate offers a creamy texture, lively bubbles, and present yet integrated acidity. The finish is dry and long, with subtle oak notes lingering.
As an aperitif with Jamón Ibérico or grilled prawns with lemon. Also a perfect choice with light seafood tempura. Serving temperature 7–9 °C.

Barón de Ley was founded in 1985 with a clear ambition: to establish a bodega in the DOCa Rioja modeled after the great Médoc châteaux—consistently focused on its own grapes and extended aging. The winery is located in Mendavia, in the Navarrese part of Rioja, in a restored 16th-century Benedictine monastery. Here, only Reserva and Gran Reserva wines are produced—no Jóvenes, no Crianzas, only wines that have been given time. The name says it all: "de ley" means something like "genuine" and "righteous" in Spanish—and that is precisely the standard reflected in every bottle.
