Baccolo Appassimento Rosso Veneto

The grapes for the Baccolo Appassimento Rosso Veneto are partially dried (appasimento), which gives the wine more body and density. The Baccolo Appassimento Rosso Veneto displays a garnet-red color in the glass and offers aromas of red berries, cherries, and a hint of vanilla in its bouquet. On the palate, it is round, aromatic, and easy to drink. Its finish is long and lingering. The wine is aged in barriques. The word "Baccolo" comes from the Venetian dialect and means something like "bon vivant."

Cielo e Terra

Cielo e Terra has two origins in Veneto: the Cielo family and the winemakers of Cantine Colli Berici. The story of Cielo e Terra began in 1908 when the Cielo family purchased land in Vicenza, near the Castelli di Romeo e Giulietta, which also included a small vineyard, Casa Defrà. In 1960, the winery was established in its current form as a cooperative, and a distribution network was set up throughout Italy. Today, Cielo e Terra exports to over 60 countries, comprises more than 1,000 winemakers with 3,700 hectares of vineyards, and is a leader in sustainability.
