Gran Passaia Rosso Toscana
The Gran Passaia Rosso Toscana is made from the Sangiovese and Merlot grape varieties.
In the glass, it shows a beautiful, rich dark red and its bouquet is of dark, red fruits such as cherry, blueberries, plums, and a little vanilla.
Its warm and full taste appears slightly spicy and is accompanied by soft tannins.
The wine undergoes the Governo process, which is similar to the Ripasso process. By adding a portion that has been previously dried, pressed, and then added back to the fully fermented wine, a second fermentation is initiated and the wine is not as dry in the end.

The Winery
Cielo e Terra has 2 origins in Veneto: the Cielo family and the winemakers of Cantine Colli Berici. The story of Cielo e Terra began in 1908 when the Cielo family bought land in Vicenza, near the Castelli di Romeo e Giulietta, which also included a small vineyard, Casa Defrà. In 1960, the winery was founded in its current form as a cooperative and an Italy-wide distribution network was established.
Today, Cielo e Terra exports to over 60 countries, consists of over 1000 winemakers with 3700 hectares of cultivated land, and is a leader in the field of sustainability.
