Baccolo Appassimento Bianco Puglia

Baccolo Appassimento Bianco Puglia
A white wine from Apulia that stands out due to the Appassimento method: parts of the grapes are dried before fermentation, giving the wine an unusual density for its type.
Cielo e Terra , based in Veneto, produces this wine under the label Baccolo – a Venetian dialect word for "bon vivant". It's fitting: the style is generous and uncomplicated, built for everyday enjoyment.
The grapes come from Apulia, one of the sunniest wine regions in Italy, known for full-bodied, aromatic white wines.
In the glass, it displays a bright golden yellow. The nose offers aromas of gooseberry and honeydew melon, with a slightly sweet, inviting note. On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied – the drying of the grapes is noticeable – with a fresh, clean finish that lightens the heaviness.
