Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon

The Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon displays a rich, purplish-red color. Its aromas are primarily reminiscent of dark berries and herbs such as mint and hawthorn, accompanied by earthy notes. On the palate, it reveals fruit and elegance, as well as a beautiful structure and finesse. The long finish, the woody notes, and the lovely minerality leave a very pleasing, harmonious impression. Aged for over one year in French oak barrels. Gold Mundus Vini for the 2015 vintage (92 points). Falstaff for the 2015 vintage (91 points). Wine Enthusiast for the 2015 vintage. Golan Heights Winery

Golan Heights Winery – vineyards north of the Sea of ​​Galilee, at altitudes between 400 and 1,100 meters. Volcanic soils, a cool climate – ideal conditions for wine. In 1983, four kibbutzim and moshavim joined forces and founded the winery in Katzrin. In 1992, winemaker Victor Schoenfeld joined, bringing experience from France and America. His influence contributed significantly to its success. The award-winning Yarden line is adorned with a mosaic-decorated oil lamp. "Yarden" – the Hebrew word for Jordan. A wine region that surprises and delights.
