Velenosi Ninfa Rosso Marche IGT Magnum

Velenosi Ninfa Rosso Marche IGT Magnum
The Ninfa Rosso from the Velenosi estate is a powerful red wine from the Marche – one of the most exciting regions of Central Italy, which often stands in the shadow of Tuscany but convinces with its own character. In the magnum bottle, it ages more slowly and develops more depth in the process.
Velenosi is one of the best-known wineries in the Marche, based in Ascoli Piceno. The house works with autochthonous and international grape varieties from the IGT Marche area and stands for structured, accessible red wines with aging potential.
In the glass, the Ninfa shows a deep ruby red. In the nose, blackberry, dark cherry, and a hint of licorice, plus spicy hints of black pepper and tobacco. On the palate, medium to full body, velvety tannins, subtle graphite note in the finish – overall round and balanced.
- Food: Roasted lamb, wild boar sauce on pappardelle, mature Pecorino

Situated at an altitude of about 150-200 meters above sea level, Velenosi cultivates around 145 hectares of vineyards, growing grape varieties such as Pecorino, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Verdicchio. Approximately two million bottles of wine are bottled annually in their own cellar.
