Solera 1847 Cream Sherry

Color: brilliant amber. Aroma: intense, aromatic bouquet with notes of raisins, figs, and delicate oak. Taste: full-bodied and smooth on the palate with juicy sweetness, subtle hints of prunes, nuts, and elegant solera oak, finishing with a beautifully aromatic richness and endless length. All grapes are harvested and fermented separately according to variety. The wines are then fortified to an alcohol content of approximately 17.5 to 18% ABV and transferred to large 600-liter oak casks in two separate solera systems for their initial maturation: one for dry Oloroso sherry, and one for Pedro Ximénez. This allows both wines to develop their characteristic varietal aromas, complexity, and unique potential. After this initial maturation, the two sherry varieties are carefully blended and bottled in González. fed by the old Solera 1847, in which they harmoniously mature for a further five years. Manuel María González founded Solera 1847 in 1847 to celebrate the birth of his first son. Awards: ISW International Spirits Competition 2010: Grand Gold
