Sella & Mosca Anemone Alghero Rosato

Sella & Mosca Anemone Alghero Rosato
A Sardinian rosé with a clear line: fresh, dry, easy to drink — and typical of the island where Cannonau is based.
Sella & Mosca is one of Sardinia's most renowned wineries. Founded in 1899 near Alghero in the northwest of the island, the estate now cultivates around 500 hectares of red limestone soil. Their Anemone wine is a blend of Cannonau and Sangiovese grapes , a combination that unites structure and freshness.
In the glass, it displays a bright cherry red color. The nose offers fresh strawberry, a touch of pomegranate, and a hint of wild rose. On the palate, it's dry, with lively acidity and flavors of red cherry, raspberry, and a touch of ripe plum. The finish is short and clean—not heavy, but it's not meant to be.
