Roederer& Starck Brut Nature Rosé Champagne Louis Roederer 0.75L
A champagne without dosage, created with designer Philippe Starck: The Roederer & Starck Brut Nature Rosé is not a compromise, but an attitude. Zero grams of residual sugar, no corrections — the wine stands on its own.
Champagne Louis Roederer, founded in 1776 in Reims, is one of the few large houses that is still entirely family-owned. The collaboration with Philippe Starck arose from a shared conviction: intervene less, listen more. The result is a rosé champagne that puts Chardonnay in the foreground and dispenses with any flavor makeup.
In the glass, it glows a delicate light pink, the perlage is fine and even. On the nose, raspberry, white currant, and a hint of dried rose petals. On the palate, clear and taut — the acidity carries without cutting. The finish shows chalk, a hint of saltiness, and lasts long.
This champagne pairs with oysters, salmon tartare, or raw tuna with sesame. Drinking temperature: 8–10 °C. Anyone opening it as an aperitif should serve good bread and butter with it — nothing more is needed.

Since its founding in Reims in 1776, the Louis Roederer estate has remained in the same family. Today, it is one of the most important independent family-owned wineries in Champagne. Frederic Rouzard, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Director General. His goal is to create the Champagne of tomorrow, ensuring that Louis Roederer will still be a benchmark in 20 years' time. The vineyards cover a total area of 240 hectares, exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne River. Since 2001, the majority of the estate has been undergoing a gradual conversion to biodynamic farming, which is scheduled for completion in 2020.
