Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne Louis Roederer 0.75L 0.75L

The Cristal from Louis Roederer is one of the most famous prestige cuvées of Champagne — and has been since 1876, when it was originally created for Tsar Alexander II. The clear bottle without foil, once a safety request of the Tsar, remains its trademark to this day.

In the glass, it shows gold-colored with fine, slowly rising perlage. The bouquet is precise and rich: white flowers like acacia, ripe peaches, and yellow fruits, underscored by a subtle mineral tension. On the palate, creamy and dense, with a clear acidity structure that gives the wine freshness and length. The finish is persistent, with a hint of brioche and citrus peel.

Best served at 9–10 °C — as an aperitif, with lobster with butter, grilled turbot, or a mild affiné cheese. Those who open it for a meal should give it time in the glass: it unfolds with air.

Champagne Louis Roederer

Since its founding in Reims in 1776, the Louis Roederer estate has remained in the same family. Today, it is one of the most important independent family-owned wineries in Champagne. Frederic Rouzard, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Director General. His goal is to create the Champagne of tomorrow, ensuring that Louis Roederer will still be a benchmark in 20 years' time. The vineyards cover a total area of 240 hectares, exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne River. Since 2001, the majority of the estate has been undergoing a gradual conversion to biodynamic farming, which is scheduled for completion in 2020.
