Riesling with Muscat RM off-dry
Riesling and Muscat are a classic Württemberg combination: The acidity of the Riesling meets the floral and aromatic notes of the Muscat — the result is a semi-dry white wine with character and approachability.
The Remstal Winery is one of Württemberg's most traditional wine cooperatives, rooted in the Remstal valley east of Stuttgart. The Rems region is known for its Keuper and Muschelkalk soils, which impart a spicy minerality to white wines. As a cooperative, the winery pools the resources of many winegrowing families from the valley.
In the glass, the RM displays a delicate, light straw yellow color. The nose offers aromas of peach, elderflower, and a hint of white grapefruit—the Muscat component provides aromatic lightness, while the Riesling adds structure. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a subtle residual sweetness that is neatly integrated by the acidity. Not a heavy wine—rather, it is an easy-drinking and uncomplicated wine.
Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with mildly spicy Asian dishes, fruit salad with mint, or as a simple accompaniment to a summer evening on the patio. Ready to drink now.
