Muskattrollinger Rosé MR delicately fruity

A light rosé wine with the characteristic muscat note that distinguishes the Trollinger here from an ordinary rosé — fruity, best enjoyed chilled, uncomplicated in the best sense.

The Remstal winery is one of the oldest wineries in Württemberg and processes grapes from the Remstal valley, one of the few regions in Germany where Muskattrollinger is cultivated to any significant extent. This cross between Trollinger and Muskateller combines the light, red fruit profile of Trollinger with the floral and spicy notes of Muscat—a unique stylistic characteristic of this Swabian grape variety.

In the glass, a pale salmon pink. On the nose, red currant, strawberry, and the typical muscat note—aromatic and inviting. On the palate, light-bodied, with a pleasing residual sweetness and pleasant freshness. The finish is short, fruity, and clean.
