Muskattrollinger Rosé MR delicately fruity

Muskattrollinger Rosé MR delicately fruity
A light rosé wine with the characteristic nutmeg note that distinguishes the Trollinger here from an ordinary rosé — fruity, cool to drink, uncomplicated in the best sense.
The Remstal-Kellerei is one of the oldest wine cellars in Württemberg and processes grapes from the Remstal, one of the few regions in Germany where Muskattrollinger is grown to any significant extent. The cross between Trollinger and Muskateller combines the light, red fruit profile of the Trollinger with the floral-spicy nutmeg note — a stylistic unique selling point of this Swabian grape variety.
In the glass, light salmon pink. On the nose, red currant, strawberry, and the typical nutmeg nuance — aromatic and inviting. On the palate, light body, pleasing residual sweetness, pleasant freshness. The finish is short, fruity, and clean.
- Serving temperature: 8–10 °C
- Pairs with: Summer tarte flambée, light salads with berries, antipasti, or simply as a terrace wine in the afternoon
