Sauvignon Blanc SB fruity
A fresh Sauvignon Blanc from the Remstal — the Württemberg growing region, which has a longer tradition for this variety than many suspect.
The Remstal winery combines the harvest of numerous winegrowing families along the Rems River east of Stuttgart. The mild microclimate between the Schurwald forest and the Swabian Alb escarpment, with warm, dry summers and cool nights, promotes the varietal aromas of Sauvignon Blanc—locally still known in some places as Muscat Sylvaner , a name that reflects its long history in the region.
The varietal profile is clearly evident in the glass: gooseberry and fresh herbs on the nose, along with a hint of green bell pepper and citrus zest. The palate is light-bodied, with lively acidity and a clean, herbaceous finish.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C . Best enjoyed young, within the next one to two years. Pairs well with goat cheese, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, grilled fish, or Asian dishes with coriander and lime — an uncomplicated everyday wine for warm evenings.
