Trollinger with Lemberger TL off-dry

Trollinger with Lemberger TL off-dry
Two Württemberg grape varieties, one familiar character: Trollinger brings the light, fresh strawberry fruit, Lemberger provides substance and a hint of spice in the finish.
The Remstal winery is one of Württemberg's most traditional cooperatives, rooted in the Remstal valley east of Stuttgart—a region where Trollinger has thrived for centuries on the weathered Keuper slopes. The combination with Lemberger is a classic feature here: a soft entry thanks to the red fruit of the Trollinger, followed by more bite and depth from the Lemberger.
In the glass, the TL displays fresh aromas of strawberry and cherry , complemented by a subtle, slightly berry-like spiciness. "Off-dry" here means: noticeable residual sweetness that balances the natural acidity and makes the wine pleasantly rounded—without heaviness.
- Temperature: 14–16 °C, the fruit is best served slightly chilled.
- Dishes: Maultaschen in broth, roast beef with onions, lentil soup with sausages or a cold platter with pretzels
- Occasion: An uncomplicated companion for a weekday evening or a relaxed snack
