Lergenmüller White Burgundy dry
A Pinot Blanc that shows what the Palatinate can do with this grape variety: clear fruit, taut structure, creamy finish — without frills.
Lergenmüller is an established winery from the Southern Palatinate, a region known for its mild temperatures and variety of soils. The Pinot Blanc thrives here on limestone and loess-loam, which gives the wine its typical clarity and subtle body.
In the glass, it shows ripe pear, some quince, and a hint of white peach. The acidity is precise without stinging — the wine remains lively without appearing restless. The finish is soft with a slightly creamy note that makes it feel pleasantly round.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C.
Suitable food:
- Asparagus with hollandaise sauce
- Poultry in cream sauce
- Mild soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert
- Risotto with zucchini and Parmesan

The German winery with its headquarters in the Palatinate was founded in 1538 and is today managed under the leadership of Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With an area of 85 ha, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually. At a total of four locations, the vines are supplied with sufficient minerals on soils made of limestone, loess and variegated sandstone. Controlled water supply and the many hours of sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth. Lergenmüller's range includes white wines from grape varieties such as Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc and red wines from the Pinot Noir, Merlot and other varieties.
