Lergenmüller Traditional Manor House Mulled Wine White 1.0L

White mulled wine made according to a family recipe that Lergenmüller has cultivated in the Palatinate for generations: fully spiced, ready to serve hot – for Christmas markets, Advent evenings or your own garden.

The Lergenmüller winery, located in Hainfeld on the Southern Wine Route, has been family-owned since 1895 and is one of the established wineries in the Palatinate region. Their traditional Herrenhaus Glühwein white wine represents their approachable style: quality wine from the Palatinate, classically produced without unnecessary embellishment.

In the glass, warm aromas of cinnamon and clove emerge, rounded off by a bright fruit note – typical of a white mulled wine, which has less depth than the red variety but is lighter and more citrusy. A mild sweetness carries the palate, and the spiced warmth lingers pleasantly.

  • Preparation: Slowly heat in a pot to 70–75 °C, do not boil.
  • Serving temperature: Hot, in pre-warmed cups
  • Goes well with: gingerbread, cinnamon pastries, roasted almonds
  • Contents: 1.0 liter – practical for smaller gatherings

Lergenmüller

The German winery, headquartered in the Palatinate region, was founded in 1538 and is currently managed by Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With 195 hectares under vine, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually. The vines are cultivated at four different locations on soils of limestone, loess, and variegated sandstone, providing them with ample minerals. Controlled irrigation and the abundant sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth. Lergenmüller's portfolio includes white wines made from grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, as well as red wines from varieties like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and others.
