Pirates of Palatinum Black Beard Cuvée dry

Stefan and Jürgen Lergenmüller embody the Pirates of Palatinum. With this authentic wine series, they express both their yearning for adventure, authenticity, and truth, and their unconventional spirit. The entire collection reflects this philosophy: The Pirates of Palatinum Black Beard is the mysterious top red cuvée from Lergenmüller. This concentrated red wine, like a pirate's treasure, was kept safe for many months in the winery's cellar. Powerful and elegant, it stands comparison with the giants of the seven seas.

Lergenmüller

The German winery, headquartered in the Palatinate region, was founded in 1538 and is currently managed by Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With 195 hectares under vine, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually. The vines are cultivated at four different locations on soils of limestone, loess, and variegated sandstone, providing them with ample minerals. Controlled irrigation and the abundant sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth. Lergenmüller's portfolio includes white wines made from grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, as well as red wines from varieties like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and others.
