Klumpp Cuvée Rosé
A rosé with real bite: The cuvée from Klumpp in Baden shows that rosé doesn't necessarily have to be light and fleeting.
The Klumpp winery is located in Bruchsal-Heidelsheim at the foot of the Kraichgau region — an area known for its powerful red wines. This heritage is also evident in their rosé: here, the focus was not on delicacy, but on substance.
In the glass, bright cherry and pomegranate, beneath which lies an unexpected depth with a hint of creamy spice. The body is firm, the fruit juicy and direct, and the freshness keeps it vibrant. The finish lingers with grenadine and a slightly creamy note, making the wine more memorable than many in its category.
Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled salmon, antipasti platters, or light pasta dishes with tomato sauce. Also a good choice as a summer evening aperitif.
