Gewürztraminer GT fruity
A particularly aromatic white grape variety. It belongs to the Traminer family and is believed to be native to southeastern Europe. However, its name comes from the town of Tramin in South Tyrol, where the variety has been known for almost 1,000 years. It is native to Germany and is approximately 500 years old. Gewürztraminer is very popular with wine lovers due to its robust, aromatic, low-acid, and sometimes exotic character. Especially in fine wines, you can expect a range of aromas, from rose (primarily on the nose) to orange peel, almond, or lychee.
