Castello Banfi Chianti Superiore DOCG

A classic Chianti Superiore from the Banfi house — structured, with the typical Sangiovese spice of Tuscany and a gold medal at the Berliner Wine Trophy 2025.

Castello Banfi is one of the most famous wineries in Tuscany, located in the Montalcino area in the middle of the hills of the Brunello origin region. Since the 1970s, the Mariani family has developed the former estate into one of the most respected production facilities in the region — with a focus on varietal Sangiovese wines and consistent quality work in the vineyard.

The Chianti Superiore shows the typical signature of Sangiovese: sour cherry and plum in the foreground, complemented by notes of dried herbs, a hint of leather, and mild spice. On the palate, it presents itself with pleasantly fresh acidity, well-integrated tannins, and a clean, medium-long finish.
