Castello Banfi Le Rime Tuscany

A fresh Tuscan wine for uncomplicated moments of enjoyment: Le Rime from Castello Banfi combines Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay to create a light, aromatic white wine with a clear Mediterranean character.

Castello Banfi is one of Tuscany's most renowned wineries. Located in the heart of the Brunello region near Montalcino, the estate cultivates approximately 850 hectares, including vineyards planted with international grape varieties. Le Rime is the most approachable wine in the Banfi portfolio: vinified young, without oak aging, with the aim of bringing the fruity aromas of the grapes directly to the glass.

In the glass, it displays a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers aromas of white pear, lemon blossom, and a hint of green apple. On the palate, it is light-bodied with fresh acidity and a short, clean finish.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Best enjoyed young — not suitable for aging. Pairs well with pan-fried sea bass, seafood in lemon butter, or a simple Caprese salad. Also an easy choice as an aperitif before a meal.
