Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner Landwein

Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner Landwein
Bründlmayer's country wine is the uncomplicated introduction to one of the best wineries in the Kamptal — fresh, direct and with the typical character of Grüner Veltliner.
Willi Bründlmayer has been among Austria's top winemakers for decades. His winery in Langenlois cultivates some of the Kamptal's most renowned vineyards, including Heiligenstein and Lamm. His regional wine is made from early-harvested grapes from various cooler vineyards in the area—deliberately focused on freshness, not depth.
In the glass, a pale yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose, citrus peel, white pepper, and a hint of fresh grapes—the classic Grüner Veltliner profile, straightforward and unadulterated. On the palate, juicy, with lively acidity and a crisp, peppery finish.
Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 10–12 °C. Pairs well with Wiener Schnitzel, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or a simple lentil salad with pumpkin seed oil. Also a great choice as an uncomplicated aperitif—drink now, don't store.
