Bruderberg Riesling Kabinett PW Mosel 0.75L

The Bruderberg Riesling Kabinett from Maximin Grünhaus shows what the smallest monopoly vineyard of the Ruwer valley is capable of: a delicate, light Riesling with natural residual sweetness that carries freshness and depth at the same time.

The Maximin Grünhaus winery is one of the most historically significant addresses on the Ruwer-Mosel. The Bruderberg vineyard grows on blue Devonian slate on a cool southeast slope — the slow ripening due to the moderate microclimate is the reason for the distinct acid structure of these wines. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, selected according to ripeness.

In the glass, the Kabinett shows aromas of white peach, lime zest, and a hint of slate mineral on the finish. The residual sweetness does not feel heavy — the lively acidity keeps it in balance and ensures a fresh, almost salty aftertaste. Light body, elegant, and easy to drink.

Best served between 8 and 10 °C. Pairs well with Asian cuisine with chili and ginger, river trout with butter sauce, or mild goat cheese. With some aging time, it develops additional complexity.
