Bruderberg Riesling Kabinett PW Mosel 0.75L
The Bruderberg Riesling Kabinett from the Maximin Grünhaus shows what the smallest monopole vineyard in the Ruwer Valley is capable of: a delicate, light Riesling with natural residual sweetness that conveys both freshness and depth.
The Maximin Grünhaus winery is one of the most historically significant estates on the Ruwermosel. The Bruderberg vineyard grows on blue Devonian slate on a cool southeast-facing slope—the slow ripening process, due to the moderate microclimate, is the reason for the pronounced acidity of these wines. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, with selection based on ripeness.
In the glass, the Kabinett displays aromas of white peach, lime zest, and a hint of slate minerality on the finish. The residual sweetness is not heavy—the lively acidity keeps it in balance and provides a fresh, almost salty aftertaste. Light-bodied, elegant, and very drinkable.
Best served between 8 and 10 °C . Pairs well with Asian cuisine featuring chili and ginger, river trout with butter sauce, or mild goat cheese. It can easily be enjoyed until 2032—with some aging, it develops additional complexity.

Maximin Grünhaus is one of the great names in the German wine world – and has been for centuries. The winery in the Ruwer Valley, a quiet side valley of the Moselle, was once owned by the Benedictine monastery of St. Maximin. Today, the von Schubert family cultivates this heritage with dedication and precision.
The three vineyard sites of Abtsberg, Bruderberg, and Herrenberg produce Rieslings that speak for themselves: delicate, mineral, with that unmistakable coolness and elegance that makes the Ruwer region so special. Whether a fresh and fruity Kabinett or a deep Spätlese – here you can taste history in every glass.
