Fusion Riesling dry QW Mosel 0.75L

A Riesling that combines the strengths of the Mosel with a modern approach: ripe fruit, clear structure and a character that is convincing both on its own and at the table.

The Maximin Grünhaus winery is one of the most historically significant estates on the Moselle. The Abtsberg, Bruderberg, and Herrenberg vineyards surrounding the former Benedictine monastery near Mertesdorf have been planted with Riesling for centuries. The winery has belonged to the von Schubert family since 1882 and is now in its fifth generation. The Fusion Riesling is the most approachable entry point into the Grünhaus range, without compromising on precision of origin.

On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of beeswax, almond butter, and white spring blossoms, along with a hint of white pepper. The fruit is ripe and inviting, while the typical Mosel acidity keeps everything lively and gives the wine structure and freshness. The finish is clean and mineral.

Best served at 10–12 °C . Pairs well with Asian cuisine featuring ginger or lemongrass, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or mild goat cheese. Also a good choice as an aperitif.

Maximin Grünhaus

Maximin Grünhaus is one of the great names in the German wine world – and has been for centuries. The winery in the Ruwer Valley, a quiet side valley of the Moselle, was once owned by the Benedictine monastery of St. Maximin. Today, the von Schubert family cultivates this heritage with dedication and precision.

The three vineyard sites of Abtsberg, Bruderberg, and Herrenberg produce Rieslings that speak for themselves: delicate, mineral, with that unmistakable coolness and elegance that makes the Ruwer region so special. Whether a fresh and fruity Kabinett or a deep Spätlese – here you can taste history in every glass.
