The Thermenregion is home to unique, indigenous grape varieties that you won't find anywhere else: Zierfandler and Rotgipfler – two rare white varieties that produce full-bodied, spicy white wines with impressive structure. These traditional varieties are often blended to create the famous "Spitzerberg" cuvée, offering a distinctive taste experience.

In the northern part, elegant Burgundy varieties, fresh Grüner Veltliner, and powerful red wines from St. Laurent and Pinot Noir thrive. The mild, Pannonian climate and the diverse soils create ideal conditions for characterful wines.
