Leithaberg

Welcome to Leithaberg, one of Austria's most exciting and innovative wine regions! Located in northern Burgenland, where rolling hills meet Lake Neusiedl, this region produces wines that will delight you with their elegance and minerality.

The Leithaberg is Austria's answer to major European red wine regions. On the calcareous soils of this DAC region, powerful yet never overpowering red wines thrive, made from Blaufränkisch – often blended with Zweigelt, St. Laurent, or international varieties like Pinot Noir. The result: wines with delicate spice, vibrant acidity, and impressive depth.

But the white wines made from Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, and Neuburger grapes also impressively demonstrate what this region is capable of: mineral, fresh, and with exceptional elegance. The Pannonian climate, with its warm days and cool nights from Lake Neusiedl, provides perfect ripening conditions.
