Krug Winery Gemischter Satz
A classic Viennese Gemischter Satz – fresh, fragrant, uncomplicated. Three grape varieties grow together in the vineyard, are harvested together, and fermented together in stainless steel tanks.
Krug Winery stands for down-to-earth winemaking tradition from the Vienna region. Gemischter Satz is the most classic Viennese wine – a style that has been served in the city's wine taverns for centuries and has been protected as a DAC designation of origin since 2013.
In the glass, this is a light, lively white wine with aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and white peach. Herbal notes and a crisp acidity give the wine its characteristic Heurigen (wine tavern) style. The finish is crisp and invigorating.

The Winery
Weingut Krug – Gumpoldskirchen since 1746. In 1998, a modern winery operation was built in the middle of the vineyards. 35 hectares in the best sites of the thermal region, natural viticulture, strict selection.
The soils of clay and limestone – even the ancient Romans knew how to appreciate them. Rotgipfler and Zierfandler grow here, powerful, multi-layered white wines, but also red wines with aging potential. And the claim: to offer high drinking pleasure even at a young age.
Variety winners, gold, silver – the Weingut Krug is a true gold mine. Austria's Burgundy, as it tastes.
