Villa Angela Offida Passerina DOCG
Passerina is one of the most distinctive white grape varieties in the Marche region—cool, mineral, with an acidity structure that clearly sets it apart from international varieties. Villa Angela showcases this strength of character in its purest form.
Velenosi is one of the most trusted names in the Marche region. This winery from Ascoli Piceno has been working with the region's indigenous grape varieties—Passerina and Pecorino—since the 1980s and has significantly contributed to the international recognition of the Offida DOCG . The vineyards are situated in the hills of southern Marche, where Adriatic breezes and daily temperature variations ensure slow ripening and the development of aromas.
In the glass, it displays a clear straw yellow with green reflections. The nose opens with white peach, lemon blossom, and a hint of chamomile . On the palate, a fresh, well-defined acidity follows, along with a medium body and a subtly salty finish—typical of the Adriatic hills. No oak influence; the fruit remains pure and unadulterated.
