Torrevento Ottagono

Torrevento Ottagono
A robust Pugliese with the typical warmth and ripeness that characterize southern Italy — dark, dense and with the necessary backbone for hearty dishes.
Torrevento is one of the most famous wineries in Apulia. The Cantina Social in Corato, at the foot of the Murge plateau, exclusively processes indigenous grape varieties from the region — including Nero di Troia, Primitivo and Negroamaro — and has significantly contributed to giving Apulian red wines international acclaim.
The Ottagono displays a deep ruby red color with violet reflections in the glass. The nose offers aromas of dark blackberry, plum, and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied with soft tannins, noticeable warmth, and a lingering finish with spicy notes.
