Rothschild Bordeaux Blanc AOC

A classic Bordeaux Blanc from the world's most famous château name – uncomplicated, fresh and precisely vinified.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild produces this white wine as an accessible introduction to the world of Bordeaux white wines. The blend is based on the region's typical grape varieties – Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon – and follows the estate's style: clean, aromatic, and easy to drink. The Bordeaux AOC permits grapes from across the entire growing area, ensuring consistent quality from vintage to vintage.

In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose opens with grapefruit and lemon zest, accompanied by white blossoms – jasmine, a hint of acacia. On the palate, this impression is confirmed: lively acidity, light body, a subtle mineral note on the finish that makes the wine seem slightly longer than expected.

Ready to drink now and for the next one to two years. Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Pairs well with goat cheese, seafood, pan-fried plaice fillets, or a light summer salad with vinaigrette.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild

Baron Philippe de Rothschild – a name that stands for great wines worldwide. Founded in 1853 with the purchase of Château Brane-Mouton, the winery was upgraded to the exclusive rank of "Premiers Crus" in 1973 – an honor shared by only five wineries in France.

Today, the family business has six locations, the majority in France, plus California and Chile. A total of 1,200 hectares of vineyards on which Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and others grow.

At the most famous location, Mouton Cadet, 20 million bottles are produced annually. Each variety is tested at least ten times – no wonder the wines are regularly rated with over 95 Parker points.
