Carmenere Red Shield
Color: beautiful, deep violet. On the nose, the Escudo Rojo Carmenere presents itself initially as floral with spicy hints of violets, then increasingly fruity with aromas of blackberries and black cherries, underpinned by delicate spice and roasted notes. On the palate, it is soft and powerful, silky, full-bodied with ripe, gently structured tannins and intense aromas of red and black fruits (wild berries, cherries) before spicy hints of licorice, black pepper, and mocha. The finish is long and velvety with clear varietal and terroir expression. James Suckling: 92 points for the 2021 vintage.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild – a name synonymous with great wines worldwide. Founded in 1853 with the purchase of Château Brane-Mouton, the estate was elevated to the exclusive ranks of "Premiers Crus" in 1973 – an honor shared by only five wineries in France. Today, the family business boasts six locations, the majority in France, along with estates in California and Chile. A total of 1,200 hectares of vineyards are cultivated, planted with Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other grape varieties. At the most prestigious site, Mouton Cadet, 20 million bottles are produced annually. Each variety undergoes at least ten tastings – it's no wonder the wines regularly receive scores exceeding 95 Parker points.
