The perfect expression of a southern French Pinot Noir! The wine smells of red fruits such as raspberry and blackberry as well as dark spices such as pepper, juniper Taste: warm, attractive, Mediterranean Pinot Noir, with a light herbal note, juniper, and blackberry, appears juicy with breed and Mediterranean temperament, with soft-present tannins in the finish.
The grapes come from vineyards near Limoux, near Carcassonne. The harvest for this Vin de Pays d'Oc is selected with the utmost care by Baron Philippe de Rothschild's oenologists from the vineyards of contract partners who have been associated with the house for a long time. The temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation at 25-30°C lasts about six days, the subsequent maceration 15 days. The malolactic fermentation and the subsequent maturation take place exclusively in stainless steel.

The Domaine
Baron Philippe de Rothschild – a name that stands for great wines worldwide. Founded in 1853 with the purchase of Château Brane-Mouton, the winery was upgraded to the exclusive rank of "Premiers Crus" in 1973 – an honor shared by only five wineries in France.
Today, the family business has six locations, the majority in France, plus California and Chile. A total of 1,200 hectares of vineyards on which Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and others grow.
At the most famous location, Mouton Cadet, 20 million bottles are produced annually. Each variety is tested at least ten times – no wonder the wines are regularly rated with over 95 Parker points.
