Old Perth Ltd. Ed. Amontillado 52.8% ABV Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 0.7L

A Blended Malt Scotch Whisky with a dry, nutty profile: The 2025 Limited Edition from Old Perth focuses on Amontillado sherry. Bottled at 52.8% vol., without chill filtration and without coloring.

The Old Perth special bottlings stand for a new cask idea every year. For this edition, selected Speyside Single Malts were married with Old Perth Solera. The composition was then aged for three years in nine first-fill Amontillado butts made of European oak and six first-fill hogsheads. For the final marriage, it was placed back into Amontillado casks at Warehouse No. 2 in Aberargie by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers.

In the glass, toasted hazelnut and almond appear, along with dried apricot and amaretti. The palate is dry and complex, with a fine salty note. The finish remains long, nutty, and spicy. Drink it neat or with a few drops of water, which open up the aromas. It goes with a quiet evening, perhaps with dark chocolate.

Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers

Five generations of whisky history are behind Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. The house trades in whisky, blends, bottles, and distills itself – a family business that knows Scottish whisky from every angle.

With us, you will find bottlings from two of Scotland's most famous whisky regions: from Speyside, which stands for its soft, fruity malts with vanilla and yellow fruit, and from the island of Islay, where smoke, salt, and peat set the tone. This allows you to taste your way through the entire spectrum, from a mild introduction to a powerful smoky aroma.

A great choice for anyone looking for Scotch with origin and craftsmanship in their glass.
