Càrn Mòr Strictly Ltd MacDuff 2009 47.5%vol 13y Single Malt Scotch Whisky Oloroso Sherry 0.7L

The Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited MacDuff 2009 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky with a clear sherry profile: aged for 13 years in an Oloroso sherry cask, bottled at 47.5% ABV.

The MacDuff distillery was founded in 1960 at the mouth of the Deveron and is known for its unusual pot stills. The distillery's style is considered gentle and slightly nutty. This edition was bottled by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, without chill filtration and without coloring.

On the nose, mocha, blackberries, walnut, vanilla and spices meet. On the palate, dried fruits, biscuits, fruit cake, sweet raisins and cinnamon follow, plus soft oak. The finish is rich, sweet and spicy.

Recommendation: neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, preferably with a few drops of water to open up the spice notes. Goes with the evening after a meal, for example with dark chocolate or a piece of walnut cake.

Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers

Five generations of whisky history are behind Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. The house trades in whisky, blends, bottles, and distills itself – a family business that knows Scottish whisky from every angle.

With us, you will find bottlings from two of Scotland's most famous whisky regions: from Speyside, which stands for its soft, fruity malts with vanilla and yellow fruit, and from the island of Islay, where smoke, salt, and peat set the tone. This allows you to taste your way through the entire spectrum, from a mild introduction to a powerful smoky aroma.

A great choice for anyone looking for Scotch with origin and craftsmanship in their glass.
