Càrn Mòr Strictly Ltd Glentauchers 2015 47.5% vol 7y Single Malt Scotch Whisky Oloroso Sherry 0.7L

A Speyside single malt from the Glentauchers distillery, 2015 vintage, matured for seven years and finished in an Oloroso sherry cask. The bottling from the Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited series comes into the bottle at 47.5% ABV, without chill filtration and without coloring.

It was bottled by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. Glentauchers is located in Speyside, a region known for fruity, round distillates. The Oloroso typically adds nutty tones, dark fruits, cocoa, and spicy wood notes to this. At seven years, the distillery character remains clearly perceptible, and the cask provides the depth.

A good whisky to understand the influence of a sherry cask at a moderate age. Try it neat first, then with a few drops of water: the aromas open up, the alcohol recedes. The dram is also worth it for comparison with other Glentauchers bottlings or with bourbon-cask malts from Speyside. Room temperature in a tulip glass, preferably after a meal.

Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers

Five generations of whisky history are behind Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. The house trades in whisky, blends, bottles, and distills itself – a family business that knows Scottish whisky from every angle.

With us, you will find bottlings from two of Scotland's most famous whisky regions: from Speyside, which stands for its soft, fruity malts with vanilla and yellow fruit, and from the island of Islay, where smoke, salt, and peat set the tone. This allows you to taste your way through the entire spectrum, from a mild introduction to a powerful smoky aroma.

A great choice for anyone looking for Scotch with origin and craftsmanship in their glass.
