Morrison Scotch Whiskey Distillers

There are families who have whisky in their blood – and then there are the Morrisons . For five generations, they have been at home in Scotland's whisky world, first as traders, then as brokers, blenders, and distillers. They once owned legendary whiskies like Bowmore, Auchentoshan, and Glen Garioch . In 1994, they sold their empire – but the passion remained.

In 2017, they returned. On a 300-hectare farm in Perthshire, they established the Aberargie Distillery – a "barley-to-bottle" distillery that does everything itself: from growing its own barley to bottling [citation:3][citation:8]. Their first single malt will be released in 2026 [citation:8]. But the Morrisons are also excellent independent bottlers : their brands Càrn Mòr (single casks with complete transparency), Mac-Talla (smoky Islay single malts), and Old Perth (100% sherry-matured blended malts) delight connoisseurs worldwide [citation:1][citation:9]. A family business with heart – and a wealth of experience.
