Old Perth P.X. 2.0 is a blended malt Scotch whisky that relies entirely on the sweetness and depth of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. At 54.3% ABV, it hits the glass powerfully, as a limited edition in a 0.7-liter bottle.

It is bottled by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. As a blended malt, it combines single malts from several Scottish distilleries, without grain whisky. Maturation in P.X. sherry casks shapes the profile.

On the nose, there are raisins, dates, and figs, along with caramel, dark chocolate, and fine spices. On the palate, it feels dense and concentrated: sweet sherry notes, toffee, nuts, and a hint of oak spice. The finish is long and warm, with dark fruit and spice.

Try it neat at room temperature; with a few drops of water, the aroma opens up even further. It goes with dark chocolate or roasted nuts as a digestif.
