Mount Hermon Rose

The Mount Hermon Rosé from Golan Heights Winery is a single-varietal Merlot rosé from the foothills of the Hermon Mountains in northern Israel – a region whose volcanic basalt soils and cool altitudes give wines a distinctive freshness and mineral depth.

On the nose, it opens with an inviting array of aromas: red berries, ripe pomegranate, and a delicate herbal note create a vibrant, multi-layered bouquet. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, refreshing, and rich in extract, with a subtle spiciness in the finish that lingers pleasantly.

When it tastes best:

  • Well chilled as an aperitif on a balmy summer evening
  • Perfect with light mezze platters, roasted vegetables or lamb dishes.
  • As an uncomplicated accompaniment to goat cheese or a fresh tomato salad

This rosé is for anyone looking for a wine with character that is suitable for everyday use – with a story that goes far beyond the glass.
