Lergenmüller Angiolino Pinot Noir dry

A Pinot Noir from the Palatinate that combines elegance and substance – created at the suggestion of sommelier Angiolino Amato, after whom it is also named.

Lergenmüller is one of the established wineries of the southern Palatinate. The estate's red wines stand for meticulous craftsmanship and a style that combines fruit depth with structural balance – not a light everyday wine, but an estate red with character.

In the glass, the Angiolino displays the typical characteristics of Palatinate Pinot Noir: ripe cherry and blackberry take center stage, accompanied by subtle spice and a velvety-smooth tannin structure. The finish is pleasantly long, with a light oak note in the background.

The Winery

Lergenmüller

The German winery with its headquarters in the Palatinate was founded in 1538 and is managed today by Jürgen and Stefan Lergenmüller. With an area of 85 hectares, it is one of the largest wineries in the Palatinate and produces up to 850,000 bottles of wine annually.

At a total of four locations, the vines are supplied with sufficient minerals on soils of limestone, loess, and variegated sandstone. Controlled water supply and the many hours of sunshine in the Palatinate contribute to optimal growth.

Lergenmüller's range includes white wines from grape varieties such as Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc, and red wines from varieties such as Pinot Noir, Merlot, and others.
